Tokyo - Shibuya
Shibuya is one of the busier places in Tokyo, recommended for its shopping, music scene and nightlife.
Shibuya refers to the area around the Shibuya train station, but it’s also the name of a ward in Tokyo which, next to Shibuya itself contains other well-known areas such as Daikanyama, Ebisu, Harajuku, Omotesandō and Yoyogi.
Shibuya crossing & Hachiko
Shibuya crossing is the world’s busiest crossing. From the Shibuya train station, follow the signs for the Hachiko exit.
Hachiko refers to a statue of a dog. Legend has it that this faithful dog would walk his boss to the station every day and wait for him to come home. After his master died, he waited for at the same spot every day for 9 years. This must be the most photographed dog in the world. It’s a favorite meeting spot.

Genki Sushi (元気寿司 渋谷店)
Genki Sushi is a sushi chain that combines the best aspects of conveyor belt sushi (choose what you eat) with a made to order system similar to calling the chef in a traditional sushi restaurant - except at Genki sushi you use a touchscreen system to order your favorites. A few minutes or sometimes even seconds after ordering, your dishes come to you via a small track that runs along the walls of the restaurant. To get an idea of what that looks like, check out the video.

Tenka Sushi (天下寿司)
Tenka sushi is a chain of conveyor belt style sushi restaurants. These places are really cheap. I often walk out with a full stomach having spent only 100 yen.
My advice is to ask for an English menu (Eego no menu arimaska?) and then ask the chef what you want directly, for example “Sake kudasai!” will get you 2 pieces of salmon onigiri.
