One of the first things you’ll notice in Japan is how different the toilets are.
They have all kinds of controls, seas are often heated and can sometimes even play music to mask the sounds you make.
The toilets come with a bidet and spray function (to, err, clean up) whose position and spraying strength can often be adjusted.
The Japanese are so proud of their toilets they even have a museum exhibit about them. It’s called the ‘Toilet!? Human Waste & Earth’s Future’ exhibit at the National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation.
